GEOGLAM had a dedicated side-meeting on Monday 21st October, the day before the CEOS Plenary begins in Brisbane.
In this meeting, RAPP -led by CSIRO (Australia) for now – has been highlighted and presented as a relevant component of GEOGLAM.
The CEOS GEOGLAM Ad-hoc Working Group is very keen on better supporting RAPP to develop and improving data access/ARD products for its end users.
On this occasion, several Australian-based CSIRO and/or remote sensing scientists and/or rangelands experts attended the meeting to enhance the activity and learn more about GEOGLAM and CEOS activities.
J. Guerschman (GEOGLAM RAPP Project leader, CSIRO) gave a presentation which was very well received by the GEOGLAM community, and further discussions were led on applications, such as CEOS datacube prototypes (implemented by the SEO team of CEOS).
